XSCORO Sports Technology Private Limited ("XSCORO", "we", "our", or "us") operates the XSCORO mobile application and website (collectively, the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information when you use our services.

Short version: We collect only what we need to make XSCORO work. We never sell your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time.

By using XSCORO, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform.

We collect information you provide directly and data generated through your use of the Platform:

HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

To create and manage your XSCORO account and profile
To display nearby grounds and matches based on your location
To process entry fee payments and prize payouts
To send match reminders, result notifications, and platform updates via push and SMS
To calculate and display player statistics and leaderboard rankings
To improve platform features through aggregated, anonymized usage analysis
To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Use
To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulatory requirements

We do not use your data for advertising purposes or share it with advertisers.

DATA SHARING

We share your data only in the following limited circumstances:

Ground Owners: When you book a slot, the ground owner receives your name and contact number for booking confirmation
Match Organizers: When you join a match, your name and profile photo are visible to the organizer and other participants
Service Providers: Razorpay (payments), Firebase (notifications), MSG91 (SMS), AWS (infrastructure) — each governed by their own privacy policies
Legal Requirements: When required by Indian law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users

We never sell your personal data to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.

PAYMENTS & FINANCIAL DATA

All payment processing on XSCORO is handled by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment gateway. XSCORO does not store, process, or transmit raw card data. We only receive transaction confirmation IDs and amounts.

Entry fees collected are held in escrow until match completion. In case of cancellation, automated refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days to the original payment method.

In-app wallet balances are maintained by XSCORO and governed by our Terms of Use.

COOKIES & TRACKING

Our website uses essential cookies for session management and authentication. We also use analytics cookies (Firebase Analytics) to understand how users interact with our web platform.

Essential Cookies: Required for login, security, and core functionality. Cannot be disabled.
Analytics Cookies: Help us understand feature usage. Collected in anonymized, aggregated form.
No Advertising Cookies: We do not use cookies for ad targeting or retargeting.

You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings at any time.

YOUR RIGHTS

Under applicable Indian law and our commitment to user privacy, you have the right to:

Access: Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you
Correction: Update incorrect information via your profile settings or by contacting us
Deletion: Request complete deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements)
Portability: Receive your data in a machine-readable format
Opt-Out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time
Grievance Redressal: Contact our designated Grievance Officer at privacy@xscoro.in

We will respond to all data requests within 30 days as required under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

SECURITY

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

All data transmitted via HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption
Passwords and sensitive fields hashed using bcrypt
JWT-based authentication with short-lived access tokens
Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
AWS infrastructure with multi-region redundancy

No system is 100% secure. If you discover a security vulnerability, please report it responsibly to security@xscoro.in.

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

XSCORO is intended for users aged 13 and above. Users under 18 require parental consent to use paid features including entry fees and prize participation.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately. Contact us at privacy@xscoro.in if you believe we have inadvertently collected such data.
